Preferred Systems Maintenance maintains Sun Microsystems Equipment, Hewlett Packard 3000 (RISC and Classic), 9000 (Servers and Workstations), PCs and other brand computer products in the upper Midwest.
Preferred Systems currently maintains, under contract, over 350 Sun and HP systems for 55 different clients in 65 different locations.
In addition to maintenance, we are also a reseller of pre-owned Sun Microsystems and Hewlett Packard products. Our engineers have an average industry experience of over 15 years in maintenance service.
Our experienced field engineering staff performs complete hardware evaluations and burn-in testing on all secondary market hardware we offer for sale.
Our client service areas include Minnesota, Wisconsin, Iowa, Nebraska and South Dakota. Our sub-contractors maintain hardware throughout the United States.

Our Business Policies and Services:
- Shipping:
Shipping for most items will be either Fed Ex ground or USPS, with the exception of extremely large items. Oversize equipment for sale must be shipped by freight, due to size and weight.
- Policies:
Unless otherwise specified in the description, most of our items offered are in pre-owned condition, not refurbished or new. Our equipment has been tested in-house and will be shipped in the condition described in the listing.
Please contact us within 7 days from the date of delivery if your item is DOA (dead on arrival) in order to obtain authorization for a return.
Please see additional information in specific listings for warranty information aside from DOA equipment.
Please note that items will only be refunded or exchanged after a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) has been granted. Upon inspection and verification that tamper-proof seals are intact, we will reimburse original shipping price paid as well as return shipping cost.
Return merchandise authorization (RMA) will only be granted for items that do not function as stated in the listing.
